Opposing Vaccine Mandates

Hello all,

Welcome to Fall; we hope everyone had a wonderful summer! 

Over the past several weeks, you have received a few emails regarding what can be called a letter writing campaign.

We all know the state our nation is in, and we know that you are as worried about it as we are. Cliches and platitudes are easy to toss out here – the one that comes to mind right now is “The Pen is Mightier than the Sword”……..at least for now.

So, the question was raised, What can be done at the grassroots level? How can we make an impact? So, this letter writing campaign was conceived. Some of the hottest issues (read – issues to make your blood pressure rise) were picked, and some sample letters were designed. These are sent to you to give an easy route to feel like we are all making a small difference. 

Attached today is a sample letter regarding Vaccine Mandates, and the erosion of our individual rights.

Our elected officials need to know how we feeling, how angry and, yes, sometimes scared we are. Maybe if we inundate these folks with correspondence that express  our collective concerned feelings, they will start paying attention…..MAYBE. But, isn’t it better than sitting and feeling helpless, and doing nothing.

Please know that these letters are only samples, and no one is under any obligation to take any action. We hope you will, in any fashion you choose, let the elected officials charged with our nation’s safety and security, know how you feel. It might be time to remind them that they work for us!

Dear (legislator name),

I am writing to you today to ask you to call for legislation that would outlaw vaccine mandates and passports.

  • We are sovereign individuals. We are not chattel or slaves owned by the government. A mandate requiring a vaccine erodes the sovereignty of the individual and is a gross violation of our inalienable rights.
  • The US constitution does not grant the federal government the power to mandate what we do with our bodies
  • Vaccine passports represent an intrusion on the privacy of ones’ health information.
  • Taking the vaccine should be a decision made by the patient and his/her doctor. 
  • The possibility exists that taking the vaccine could be unnecessary, or worse, hazardous to the health of certain patients. Especially where there is natural immunity or a health condition that would be adversely affected by the vaccine.
  • Vaccine passports facilitate discrimination and persecution of the unvaccinated individual.

Representative name, vaccine mandates and passports continue us down the very slippery slope, that the arguably wrong Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Care Act started.  What’s next, a scarlet letter or a star of David?  I feel that neither the government nor private business entities have the medical expertise to advise me on the vaccine or any other medical issues.

As a citizen of this great nation, I implore you to propose legislation to outlaw the implementation of vaccine mandates and passports anywhere in the United States of America.
