Election Reform Bill Support

Election Reform Bill Support

Dear Fellow Citizen,

Do you have faith in our election process?

Do you believe that only living citizens vote and only vote once?

Do you believe election machines are secure from hackers?

Secure and fair elections are imperative to the preservation of our Republic. The events surrounding the 2020 election have skyrocketed the already existing concerns about the integrity of our elections.  Trust in our government, our election processes, and the electronic voting machines has been undermined.

Are you ready to join us in Defending the Republic?

We, the people, are calling for our elected officials to guarantee the integrity of our elections and ensure that they reflect the will of the citizens.

Attached is a sample letter and a set of bullet points for you to use to write to as many government officials as you can. The bullet points are suggested topics and information, feel free to add to them. They will be most effective if they are restated in your own words. Also, adding a statement about how the issues affect you personally makes for a much more compelling letter.

Please remember to be respectful and courteous – ‘you will catch more bees with honey than with vinegar’.

Mailed correspondence carries the most weight, but if your preferred way of communication is email or phone call then by all means employ those methods.

For your convenience, we have listed the mailing addresses for a target list of recipients.  You may want to send your letters to a broader audience.  The more representatives and government officials we contact, the more impact we will have, so please don’t limit your correspondence to this list. Also listed are websites where you can obtain addresses for all NC State Legislators and all Federal Representatives and Senators.

Please share this email and letter with everyone you know that would like to join us. The more letters the more influence! Also, if you know anyone that would like their name added to our mailing list, please reply to this email and send the information. We do not share email information with any other organization.

Defending the Republic,

Dare County GOP Secretary

Dear (legislator name),

I am writing this letter to clearly share my views with you concerning the restoration of election integrity in North Carolina. In view of the results of many of the elections held in NC in the past, and specifically the election of 2020, I and many of my fellow Citizens have lost confidence that our voting system is actually representing the will of the voters. The following are some reasons for this loss of confidence:

  • The use of electronic voting machines to record and tally the votes and to report the results rather than paper ballots and hand counting the votes.
  • The apparent inability of the electronic system to adequately guarantee an unbroken chain of custody of the votes. Where are the votes stored and can the results be easily retrieved for inspection by persons?
  • The threat of dilution of our votes for any reason. A vote is either a 1 or a 0. It can be no fraction. There have been numerous examples of an algorithm within the electronic voting machine system that may weigh votes for or against a candidate by some fraction of a vote. Also the increasing frequency of mail in voting, which can be easily manipulated.
  • The apparent lack of any investigation in our State to ensure that our elections have been performed according to Law and that the elections results were accurately reported.

Addressee, we live in a Constitutional Republic in NC and the United States and voting system integrity is of paramount importance to the proper functioning of our government. Without confidence in our voting system, I feel that the Republic is lost and the government is a lie.

As my representative, I urge you to support the following election reform bills brought up in the NC State House: H782, H819, H259, HJR 330, H487, H715, and their counterparts in the NC

Senate. I urge you to use all of your power to ensure adherence to voting laws currently in place to their letter, and I urge you to investigate to the fullest extent, voting processes, systems, and practices to ensure that this system accurately represents the will of the voter. I also call on you to support replacing all electronic voting machines with a simple paper ballot system. Finally I vehemently urge you to resist any attempts by the Federal government to usurp the right of the States to conduct voting as the State sees fit.

Sincerely,
